Counci hne,nber Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-06-142 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ?APPROVING THE RAMSEY LIONS APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE <br />PERMIT FOR I~AWFUL GAMBLING AT JR'S SALOON IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHERE,AS~ The Ramsey Lions has applied for a premise permit for gambling at JR's <br />Saloon, 6141 Highway 10, Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Ramsey Lions has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City r~f Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THERE~ORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for The <br />Ramsey I~ions to operate lawful gambling at JR'S Saloon, 6141 Highway 10, Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the :Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmennan <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councihnember Elvig <br />Councihnember Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br /> <br />
