Recommendation: <br /> <br />Considering the design of the home and the number of years it has been utilized with an accessory <br />apartment, it is the recommendation of the Planning Commission and City Staff that a conditional <br />use permit be granted to Cathy Gustafson. It is recommended that a term of the CLIP require that <br />the proper~y owner occupy one of the units. Studies indicate that this is advisable for two reasons: <br />1) It prevents marketing the home on speculation of it being a double rental unit or duplex; and 2) <br />occupancy by the property owner usually ensures the appearance of the structure will be <br />maintained. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution ~P94-0 adopting findings of fact # U~ relating to Cathy Gustafson's <br />request for a conditional use pen'nit for an accessory aparmaent. <br /> <br />Motion to: ~to <br />Adopt Resolution ~t94-02-0 deny/approve Cathy Gustafson's request for a conditional <br />use permit for an accessory apartment at 15823 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. and declare <br />conditions of same. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />CC: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Building Official <br /> <br />2/22/94 <br /> <br /> <br />
