Councilmemb~r Zimmcrman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g93.10-245 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF FEE SIMPLE INTEREST OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FOR UTILITIES AND FUTURE EXTENSION OF MCKINLEY STREET WHEREAS, in 1988, landowners of property with the property, parcel identification numbers of 35-32-25-22-0011 and 35-32-25-21-0001 allowed the City of Ramsey to consmact a san/taD' sewer line; and WHEREAS, since this point in time, the owners of the property and the Cit?.' have jointly negotiated in good faith toward compensation to the landowners for use of the easement; and WHEREAS, on May 24, 1993, the City authorized Herman Appraisal Services to ascertain a value of the property utilized for easement purposes as well as an 80 foot road right-of- way described for each parcel as: An 80 foot wide strip of land the centerline of which scrip of land is as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the west I/ne of the east 10 rods of the Northwest Quarter of Sex:don 35, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, and a ]J.ne 390.00 feet northeasterly of as measured at a right angle to and parallel with the northerly right-of-way of the Burlington Northern Railroad; thence northwesterly pm-allet with said northerly right-of-way to the east line of Out. lot A, KAMSEY 67 IN'DUSTRIAL PARK FIRST ADDITION, Anoka Count3,, Minnesota and said centerime there terminating. The no~w..herly and southerly lines of said easement are to be prolonged or shortened to terminate on the west Iine of the east 10 rods of said Northwest Quarter and the east line of sa.id Outlot A. · The centerline of said 80.00 foot wide strip of land is described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the east line of said Oufiot A with a line 390.00 feet northeasterly, as measured at a right angle to and parallel with the northerly right of wax, of the Burlington Northern Railroad; thence on an assumed bearing of North 65 degrees 46 minutes 50 seconds West, parallel to said northerly right of way, a distance of 597.91 feet, thence northwesterly along a tangential curve, concave to the northeast, having a radius of 1219.73 feet, a central angle of 18 degrees 37 minutes 26 seconds, a distance of 396.47 feet.; thence North 4"/degrees 09 minutes 24 seconds West, tangent to last said curve, a distance of 100.00 feet; thence westerly along a tangential curve, concave to the southwest, having a radius of 510.35 feet, a central angle of 42 degrees 47 minutes 56 seconds a distance of 381.22 feet; thence North 89 degrees 57 minutes 20 seconds West, tangent to last said curve, a distance of 350.00 feet to the east right of wa3' of Sunfish Lake Boulevard, and said centeFfine thee terminating. AND WHEREAS, the appraisal has provided values for the property as $14,850 for parcel 35-32-25-22-0011 owned by Anoka 67 Park Partnership and $7,300 for parcel 35-32-25- 2t-0001.
