CASE # <br /> <br /> N£iRTH METRO MAYORS ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP <br /> By: Ryan Schroeder, City Administrator <br /> <br />Backgrounfl: <br /> <br />Attached is the pertinent materials regarding membership in the North Metro Mayors <br />Association (NMMA) for 1994. In a nutshell, Council's request for a reduced fee <br />membership ~for 1994 has been rejected. I spoke with the Executive Director on April 6, <br />1994, and wits unable to effect any change in this position. This position is that we may <br />belong for $8,020 or not at all even though all of our immediate neighbors receive a <br />discounted r~ ,,mbership fee. <br /> <br />Recommentlation: <br /> <br />Given the ab ~ve, it is Staff's position that we not continue membership in the NMMA. <br />Council Attion: <br /> <br />Motion to d~rect the City Administrator to inform the NMMA of Ramsey's desire to <br />reconsider a i~ew membership for 1995 after a hiatus for 1994. <br /> <br />Reviewed !by: <br /> <br />City Admin~trator <br /> <br />CC: 04/I~2/94 <br /> <br /> <br />
