Councilmcmber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-03-. RESOLUTIOI~, GRANTING APPROVAL OF A DIVISION OF LAND BY A METES ANDI BOUNDS DESCRIPTION BY DARNELL H. AND JANET L. BLUME WHERE&S, Dm'nell H and Janet L. Blume applied to the City of Ramsey for a division of' land by a mete~ and bounds destxiption; and WHERE~AS, Section 9.50.09 of the Ramsey City Code permits the division and conveyance of la~d by metes and bounds description if the parcel created is not less than 20 acres and is at least 5001 wide; and WHERE~S, the new parcel created exceeds the 20 acre and 500' lot width minimums; and WHERE4~S, the property owner desires to convey the new parcel created to Good Value Homes; and WHERE4~S, it is anticipated that the new parcel created will be undivided in the Municipal Urban ~;ervice Area (MUSA) in the City's Revised Comprehensive Plan amendment dated October 20, ~993; and WHEREAS, it is anticipated that upon inclusion in the MUSA, the subject property will be platted and developed in accordance with Chapter 9.50 of the Ramsey City Code. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSE¥, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the P4msey City Council approves the division of the above legally described property by metes ~d bounds description to create the following legally described property. That part Of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township i32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying southwesterly and southerly ~f a line described as beginning at a point on the east line of said Northwest~Quarter of the Northeast Quarter distant 332.67 feet north of the southeast ~rner thereof; thence North 64 degrees 06 minutes 57 seconds West, assumed b~sis for bearings, 736.10 feet, thence North 33 degrees 33 minutes 38 seconds W~st 766.24 feet to a point on the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Nonhe,ast Quarter distant 223.50 feet east of the northwest corner thereof; thence Soufla 88 degrees 54 minutes 41 seconds West 223.50 feet along said north line to said horthwest comer and said line there terminating, according to the United States Gov ~e~mment Survey thereof and situated in Anoka County, Minnesota The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was'duly seconded by Councilmember an~upo voting being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following a~stained:
