Councilmembe~ inuodu~ the following resolution and moved for its adoption: ~ RESOLUTION #94-03- RESOLUTIO~q GRANTING APPROVAL OF A DIVISION OF LAND BY A METES ANI~ BOUNDS DESCRIPTION BY DARNELL H. AND JANET L. BLUME WHERI~AS, Darnell H and Janet L. Blume applied to the City of Ramsey for a division of land by a me~s and bounds description; and WHER~-EAS, Section 9.50.09 of the Ramsey City Code permits the division and conveyance of l~and by metes and bounds description if compliance with the platting requirements presents an unn~essary hardship and failure to comply does not interfere with the purposes of the Subdivision Ch ~.~pter; and WHEREAS, the property owner desires to convey the new parcel created to Good Value Homes; and WHERI~. AS, it is anticipated that the new parcel created will be included in the Municipal Urban Service Airea (MUSA) in the City's Revised Comprehensive Plan amendment dated October 20, 1993; and WHERI~. AS, it is anticipated that upon inclusion in the MUSA, the subject property will be platted and d{veloped in accordance with Chapter 9.50 of the Ramsey City Code. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the ~Ramsey City Council hereby waives the platting requirement and approves the division ~f certain property by metes and bounds description to create the following legally described~ property. That par~ of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying southwesterly and southerl~of a line described as beginning at a point on the east line of said NorthweSt Quarter of the Northeast Quarter distant 332.67 feet north of the southeas~ corner thereof; thence North 64 degrees 06 minutes 57 seconds West, assumed ~asis for beatings, 736.10 feet, thence North 33 de~ees 33 minutes 38 seconds West 766.24 feet to a point on the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter distant 223.50 feet east of the northwest corner thereof; thence Sd.,uth 88 degrees 54 minutes 41 seconds West 223.50 feet along said north line to sai~ northwest comer and said line there terminating, according to the United States GoYemment Survey thereof and situated in Anoka County, Minnesota The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember arid upon voting being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the, followinglvoted against the same: and the following';abstained: .:
