Councilmemb~': introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />~ RESOLUTION ~94-04-._ <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY O~l IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-15 (STREET LIGHT <br />IMPROVEMENT FOR GREEN VALLEY ESTATES 2ND ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEI~EAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement o~t sueet lights to Green Valley Estates 2nd Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHER~EAS, the City Administrator has'found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHER~EAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter an~ Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THERI~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That a c~ertain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of street <br /> lights tol, Green Valley Estates 2nd Addition has been filed with the City Council on April <br /> 12, 199~. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of <br /> affected!property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code <br /> Section ~.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) That th~Pefition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br /> to prep~e a feasibility study to the City Council with ail convenient speed advising the <br /> Council ~n a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br /> the cost~ of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br /> commeflt as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br /> other im[~rovement. <br /> <br />3) That the,,above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project g94- <br /> <br />The motion for ~e adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> ~d upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said liesolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 12th day of April, 1994. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: ,,~ <br /> <br />City Administratbr <br /> <br /> <br />
