Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />A RESOLUTION ASSIGNNING COUNCILMEMBER <br />TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES <br />WHEREAS, Councilmember David Jeffrey resigned from Ward 4; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilmember Sarah Strommen was elected to the City Council to <br />fill the Ward 4 vacancy; and <br />WHEREAS, Councilmember Strommen will fill the vacancies left by <br />Councilmember Jeffrey on the City's Personnel Committee, the Ramsey/Nowthen Joint <br />Powers Board, and the Joint Law Enforcement Council as the alternate member, through <br />December 31, 2011 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #11-09-XXX assigning Councilmember Strommen to the <br />City's Personnel Committee, the Ramsey/Nowthen Joint Powers Board, and the Joint <br />Law Enforcement Council as the alternate member, through December 31, 2011. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 13t1i day of September, 2011. <br />
