CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 09/13/2011 <br />By: <br />Title: <br />Tim Gladhill, Community Development <br />7. 4. <br />Adopt Ordinance to Amend City Code Section 117-90 Entitled Map; Case of Stoney River <br />Background: <br />The City received a request for a Zoning Amendment from B-1 General Business District to R-3 Residential to <br />accommodate a seventy-two (72) unit senior housing complex. The ordinance was introduced on August 23, 2011, <br />and is now eligible for adoption. The site plan, minor plat, and Comprehensive Plan Amendment were also <br />approved on August 23rd. The Comprehensive Plan Amendment was approved through the Administrative Review <br />Process on September 1, 2011. <br />Notification: <br />All property owners within 700 feet were notified of the Public Hearing via the notification for Sketch Plan Review. <br />Recommendation: <br />The Planning Commission recommends approval of the Zoning Amendment.
