Fire Statioh addition can be accomplished with minimal disruption to City Hall. <br /> <br />Relocationiof Planning, Engineering, and Inspections to the Public Works <br />Facility wil! free-up lower level City Hall for conference and meeting space. <br /> <br />Land use a~nd site size will accommodate Police/Public Works in a new facility <br />and providb adequate vehicle and equipment storage, maintenance, and <br />support areas. <br /> <br />Site plan cPncept provides access to Public Works administration on the same <br />size as theiCity Hall lobby. The vehicular activity, fueling, and outside storage <br />are screened from view from the general entering City Hall. <br /> r <br /> <br />Site plan cpncept locates all faciiity development to the south half of the site, <br />allowing g!eater potential future development in,the northern quadrants. <br /> <br />Disadvantages <br /> <br />The relocation <br />Works Facility <br />to the public· <br /> <br />of Police Planning, Engineering, and Inspections to the Public <br />lessens the proximity to other City Hall department s and access <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The site dffsign concept as it relates to the Public Works facility represents <br />significant!tsite development costs for excavation and grading. <br /> <br />The PoliceiDepartment has a much stronger functional relationship to City Hall <br />than it does to Public Works. <br /> <br /> <br />
