CASE # <br /> <br />SUNWOOD DRIVE APPRAISAL/ACQUISITION AUTHORIZATION <br /> ~ By: Steven Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Work has progrgssed on the alignment and design of Sunwood Drive N.W. to the point that the <br />required right-oil-way is now known. To facilitate construction of phase I by September 1994, we <br />will need to initiate the formal procedures for acquiring the land. Informally, all four of the <br />affected propert~ owners are <br /> broject, knowledgeable about the proposed road and have been kept abreast of <br />progress <br /> on <br /> this <br /> <br />The requiremenl~ associated with acquisition of lands for public projects are involved and must <br />meet the guideliltes of Minnesota Statutes 117.51 and 117.52 and MnDOT state aid regulations 5- <br />892.310. The Ciiy has retained Evergreen Land Services, Inc. to provide such acquisition services <br />on two current £ ity projects, the 116 Bikeway Trail Corridor and the 153rd/155th Avenue N.W. <br />extension. Staff [eels that Evergreen Land Services can provide the necessary property acquisition <br />services consiste:lt with State law in a timely and efficient manner. Attached is a proposal for such <br />services in an ar~[ount not to exceed $8,500.
