Background: <br /> <br />CASE #: <br /> <br />1994 EXEMPT WAGES AND BENEFITS <br />By: Ryan Schroeder, City Administrator <br /> <br />On April 12, and again on April 19, 1994, the Personnel Committee discussed the issue of <br />1994 wages and benefits for exempt personnel. On May 10, 1994, the Committee will be <br />discussing ~ lditional items directly and indirectly relating to wages. However, it is <br />expected tha that four case agenda will not be forwarded onto Council later that evening. <br />[Report fror Personnel Committee is not on the Council agenda as it is expected that <br />discussion w!ll continue at the Committee level.] <br /> <br />On April 19i 1994, the Personnel Committee passed a recommendation to Council for <br />approval of tl~e attached wage table. The notes at the bottom of the table signify additional <br />comparable ~vorth wages. These adjustments result in Police Chief pay at the rate of <br />$54,686 (mic~.point of position pay class) and for the Administrative Services Manager at <br />$35,919 (minimum of position pay class). The above is utilizing the same pay plan as <br />AFSCME (4.03%) but as amended by the above two adjustments. <br />The benefit p~tckage is the same for all employee groups.
