Commissioner <br /> Gookin recommended mowing the lawns shorter as one alternative. Commissioner Cook <br /> expressed concern in using any chemicals close to wetlands. Mr, Boos indicated that he was <br /> considering implementation of broadleaf control at Central Park. Commissioner Gookin suggested <br /> using Central Park as a control point to test thc application and determine the feasibility, The <br /> Commission agreed that the above would be the general policy regarding dandelion issues. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos indicated that the Goals Workshop held May 12, 1993 held one common thread - the <br />need to have more long-range planning.
