ORDINANCE g94. CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNT STATE OF MINNESOTA AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 7 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE LICENSING AND PERMITS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE. AN ORDINArNCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7, SECTION 7.6I ENTITLED "LAWFUL GgiMBLING" OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA The City of Ram~ey ordains: SECTION 1. '~ This Ordinance ia adopted pursuant to the authority granted by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 349. et al. SECTION 2. AMENDMENT Section 7.61 of the City Code is amended to read as follows: 7.61.01 Purpose The purp0~se of this section is to regulate and control the conduct of lawful gambling pursuant tO, the provisions of Chapter 349 of Minnesota Statutes. 7.61.02 :Adoption of Reference Chapter 349 of Minnesota Statutes is adopted by r~ference the same as if fully set forth herein. 7.61.03 Notice; Approval or Disapproval The applic[tnt for a lawful gambling premises permit ("premises permit") within the City shall apply!to the Council in writing in the manner required by law for a premises permit at least 60 da~Ys before issuing or renewing the premises permit. Each application for a premises p~rmit shall be approved or disapproved by the Council. 7.61.04 Location Lawful gambling under license issued by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board ("Board") r~ay be conducted only at locations that comply with applicable zoning, building, fire and he41th codes of the City. All applications must be for a specific location with the exception oi' Class D (raffle only) licenses. . The follow'.~g locations are considered unsuitable for'gambling operations and any request for a prem~es permit at such a location will be rejected without clear and convincing evidence thitt such a location will not pose undue enforcement difficulties, lessen property values of a4joining properties, or expose gambling to persons under 18 years of age: a. : Areas zoned for agriculture or residentiaI use;
