2.4 Vacancies: A vacancy on the Organization shall be <br />filled by the ~overning body of the party whose membership <br />position on th~ Organization is vacant. <br /> <br /> 2.5 Additional Memben. s: The Organization may, with the <br />ratification of the governing bodies of all voting members of the <br /> <br />Organization, invite other units of government within the Rum <br />River Watershed to also become parties to this Agreement. The <br />governing bodyiof such additional party shall appoint a member to <br />the Organizatidn who shall have voting rights in accordance with <br />the provisions iof Section 2.2, and in all respects thenceforth <br />enjoy the full Frights, duties, and obligations of this Agreement° <br /> <br /> 2.6 Compensation and Expenses: The Organization members <br />shall not be entitled to compensation or reimbursement for <br /> <br />expenses incu,rr~d in attending meetings, except to the extent <br /> <br />that the governSng body of a party might determine to compensate <br />or reimburse th~ expenses of the member it appoints, in which <br />case the obligation to make such payments shall be that of the <br />party and not that of the Organization. <br /> <br /> 2.? officers: The Organization shall elect from its <br />membership a chgir, a vice-chair, a secretary and a treasurer and <br />such other officers as it deems necessary to reasonably carry out <br /> <br />the purposes of ~his. Agreement. All such officers shall hold <br />office for a ter~ of one year and until their successors have <br />been elected by ~he Organization. An officer.may serve only <br />while a, member of the Organization and may be~re-elected to an <br /> <br />office.
