Coun¢[[memb~r I <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #94-05- <br /> <br />A RESOLUT]~ON ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FO{,R A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A'~[i"OME OCCUPATION <br />ON THE PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 17310 ST. FRANCIS BLVD. <br />N. W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jeffrey Lorge and Julie Lorge, husband and wife, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicants", h~ve properly applied for a Conditional Use Permit for a Home Occupation to <br />establish and o~erate a one-chair beauty salon on the property generally known as 17310 St. <br />Francis Blvd. N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 13, Auditors Subdivision //27, except road subject to easement of record; Anoka <br /> Count),, ~tate of Minnesota. <br /> <br /> (the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the ~pplicants appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission for a public <br /> hearing p~rsuant to Section 9.03.~4 (Conditional Use Permits) and Section 9.11.04 (Home <br /> OccupatiOns) of the Ramsey Cit3 Code on May 3, 1994 and that said public hearing was <br /> properly ~dvertised and that the minutes of said public heating are hereby incorporated as a <br /> part of thbse findings by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the ~;ubject property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential and is approximately 1 acre in <br /> <br />3. That beauty salons are not a permitted use in the R-1 Rural Residential Dismict. <br /> <br />4. That the imbject property is surrounded by R-1 Rural Residential zoning and a residential <br /> Planned ~nit Development. <br /> <br />5. That the J~pplicant has provided documentation to support that the home occupation will be <br /> conducte~l within the private dwelling on the property and that the area set aside for the <br /> home occupation does not exceed 20% of the total floor area of the private dwelling. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant will reside at the location of the proposed home occupation. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant has stated that the home occupation will not include any employment of <br /> persons nBt residing in the private dwelling in the performance of the home occupation. <br /> <br />8. That the ,Applicant has stated that there will be no exterior storage of business equipment <br /> and materials. <br /> <br />9. That ther~ are other similar permitted conditional uses in the R-1 Rural Residential District. <br /> <br /> 10.
