public <br /> <br />Councilmember~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />i PROPOSED RESOLUTION #94.05- <br /> <br /> A RESOLU, TION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE <br /> PERMIT FOR A HOME OCCUPATION AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br /> WHERI~As, Jeffrey and Julie Lorge have properly applied for a conditional use permit <br />for a home occur, ation to establish and operate a one-chair beauty salon within the private dwelling <br />on the propertyJ generally known as 17310 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 13, Auditors Subdivision #27, except road subject to easement of record; Anoka <br /> County, Minnesota (Subject Property); and <br /> WHERI~AS, the Planning and Zoning Commission met on May 3, 1994, conducted the <br /> hearing ad~d recommended City Council approval of the request. <br /> <br /> NOW T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. Based oniFind/ngs of Fact # , a conditional use permit for,. a home occupation is hereby <br /> granted tqb Jeffrey and Julie Lorge, hereinafter referred to as Permit Holder", at 17310 St. <br /> Francis li~lvd. N.W. for a one-chair beaut), salon operation. <br /> <br /> Should tlie Permit Holder die or move to a new location, the permit shall be automatically <br /> terminate~, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at <br /> the same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect shall <br /> be given to the City Administrator and the City Council ma), authorize continuation of the <br /> wi~out further bearing. <br /> permit <br /> <br />3. The area ~ievoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total <br /> floor areaiof the private dwelling. <br /> <br /> Adequatelwater supply and on-site sewage disposal'facilities shall be the responsibility of <br /> the Permit Holder. <br /> <br /> Adeq uae Dff-srreet parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder. <br /> <br /> There sha~l be no exterior or inter/or display of business signs. <br /> <br /> There shall be no exterior indications of the home occupation displayed. <br /> <br /> There shail be no exterior storage of business equipment and materials. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Employee,s of the home occupation shall be restricted to persons residing within the private <br />dwelling On the Subject Property. <br /> <br />Merchandise not considered accessory to the use shall not be d/splayed or offered for sale <br />within theJ residence.
