APPROVE <br /> <br />I~AWFUL <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />GAMBLING PREMISES PERMIT FOR RAMSEY LIONS <br /> CLUB AT M & L LIQUORS <br />By: Jessie L. Hart, Finance.Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Attached for Cit~ Council review, is a lawful gambling premise permit application for the Ramsey <br />Lions Club to operate a lawful gambling site at M & L Liquors, 5900 - 167th Avenue, Ramsey. <br />The application ~;pecifies raffles, paddlewheels, pull-tabs and tip-boards. <br /> <br />This is applieati ~n would bring to four, the total number of sites that the Lions have in the City of <br />Ramsey for la~ ful gambling operations. As you may recall, the lawful gambling section of <br />Chapter 7 of th~ City Code was recently amended to allow for unlimited sites within the City. <br />These particular maendments do not become effective until July 1, 1994, thus, the Lions operation <br />at M & L Liquo] would not begin prior to that date. <br /> <br />The Lions Clui is currently in compliance with all requirements in conjunction with lawful <br />gambling opera' ions in the City.
