Councilmcmbcr , inaoduced thc following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION ~4-06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RAMSEY LIONS CLUB APPLICATION FOR <br />PREMISE PEI~MIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT M & L LIQUORS <br /> WHERE~S, thc Ramscy Lions have applied for a premise permit for gambling (raffles, <br />paddlcwhccls, p~t-tabs and tip-boards) at M & L Liquors, 5900 - 16?th Avenue N.W., Ramscy; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,! in accordance with Ordinance 4$94-05, this site cannot begin operations prior to <br />July 1, 1994; an~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division o£ the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City ~f Ramscy adopt a r~solution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREI~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, !ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramscy City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br /> Ramsey I~ions Club to operate raffles, paddlewhe¢ls, pull-tabs and tip-boards at M & L <br /> Liquors at 5900- 167th Avenue N.W. in Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the ~amsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to sign the <br /> applicatio~ and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for th~ adopuon of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon ?ore being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the followingtvoted against the same: <br />and the followinglabstained: <br />and the followmgiwere absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said r.~solution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of Jttne, 1994 <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administratoi' <br /> <br /> <br />
