Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #94-06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING REVISED FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF <br />CHESTNUT RIDGE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Good Value Homes, Inc., hereafter referred to as "Developer" has <br />properly applied for final plat approval on the following described property located in the <br />City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township <br />32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except the west 650 feet of the <br />south 300 feet thereof; <br /> <br />Outlot C, WOOD POND HILLS, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, on June 7, 1993, the City received application and sketch <br />plan from Good Value Homes, Inc. for Chestnut Ridge; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on October 5, <br />1993, and tabled action on the preliminary plat; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on January 4, 1994, and approved <br />the preliminary plat of Chestnut Ridge and directed the Developer to proceed to the final <br />plat stage; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council met on January' 25, 1994 and approved the <br />preliminary plat for Chestnut Ridge; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council met on March 22, 1994 and granted final plat approval <br />to Chestnut Ridge contingent upon obtaining a permit from the Department of Natural <br />Resources (DNR) to cross Wetland 2-114P and City Ditch 43 in order to construct Krypton <br />Street N.W. as a through street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 31, 1994, the DNR issued as denial of the Developer's <br />application for a permit to cross the wedand and the County Ditch; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 6, 1994, the Planning Commission met and recommended <br />that the City Council grant a variance to cul-de-sac length in order that Krypton Street <br />N.W. may be designed as a cul-de-sac versus a through street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 14, 1994, the City council granted approval of the request <br />for a variance to cul-de-sac length for Krypton Street N.W.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the park dedication shall be satisfied with a cash payment. <br /> <br /> <br />
