Councilmember .~ <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #94-06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AU[THORIZING THE CAPITAL PURCHASE OF ONE WIRE FEED WELDER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, il. he capital purchase of one wire feed welder was anticipated in the 1994 budget at an <br />estimated price of $3,Q00; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, ~uotes for the wire feed welder have been received from US Alloy at a price of $2,393.00 <br />plus sales taxes and N~orthcrn Airgas at a price of $2.250.00 plus sales taxes; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, both of these quotes are below the anticipated budgeted amount; and <br /> Resolution #89-12-331 entitled Purchasing Authority specifically states that there shall be <br /> WHEREAS, <br />specific Council appr~valr' on 'all capital purchases which total Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or more. <br /> <br />NOW TItEREFO~E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOK4 COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ram~;ey City Council hereby authorizes the capital purchase of one wire feed welder from <br /> Northern Airgas at a price not-to-exceed $2,250.00 plus ail applicable sales taxes. <br /> <br />The motion for the ad.~ption of thc foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and <br />upon vote being takenithereon the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />and the following abst~ained: <br /> <br />and the following wet{ absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day <br />of June, 1994. r <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />4..5 <br /> <br /> <br />
