Councilmember; introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />i RESOLUTION g94- <br /> <br />RESOLUTIO~q APPOINTING A RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY AND <br />ASSIGNING !DUTIES <br /> <br />WHERI~AS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 13.02, Subdivision 16, as amended, requires <br />that the City o~Ramsey appoint one person as the Responsible Authority to administer the <br />requirements for~ collection, storage, use and dissemination of data on individuals, within the City; <br />and [ <br /> <br /> WHERI~AS, the Ramsey City Council shares concern expressed by the Legislature on <br />the responsible tlse of all City data and wishes to satisfy this concern by immediately appointing an <br />administratively [qualified Responsible Authority as required under the statute. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That ~he City Council of Ramsey appoints Kay McAloney as the Responsible Authority <br /> for the l~urposes of meeting all requirements of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13, as <br /> amended[ and with rules as lawfully promulgated by the Commissioner of Administration. <br /> <br /> 2) That t}he Responsible Authority shall require the requesting party to pay the actual cost <br /> of making, certifying, and compiling copies and of preparing summary data. <br /> <br />The motion for tge adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote bering taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> [ <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the __day of ~ , 1994. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
