Councilmember; introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: i RESOLUTION g94- RESOLUTIO~q APPOINTING A RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY AND ASSIGNING !DUTIES WHERI~AS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 13.02, Subdivision 16, as amended, requires that the City o~Ramsey appoint one person as the Responsible Authority to administer the requirements for~ collection, storage, use and dissemination of data on individuals, within the City; and [ WHERI~AS, the Ramsey City Council shares concern expressed by the Legislature on the responsible tlse of all City data and wishes to satisfy this concern by immediately appointing an administratively [qualified Responsible Authority as required under the statute. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That ~he City Council of Ramsey appoints Kay McAloney as the Responsible Authority for the l~urposes of meeting all requirements of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13, as amended[ and with rules as lawfully promulgated by the Commissioner of Administration. 2) That t}he Responsible Authority shall require the requesting party to pay the actual cost of making, certifying, and compiling copies and of preparing summary data. The motion for tge adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote bering taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: [ whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the __day of ~ , 1994.
