Councilmemb~, <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #94-07. <br /> <br />RESOLUTI(~N RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-01 THROUGH #94-11 (1994 STREET <br />MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - SEALCOATING) <br /> WHEREAS, resolutions were adopted by the Ramsey City Council on May 24, 1994, <br />authorizing the tareparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, resolutions were adopted by the Ramsey City Council on June 14, 1994, <br />approving the ~lans and specifications and authorizing the advertisement for bids for the above <br />referenced wor~; and <br /> <br /> WHERI~AS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1994 Street Maintenance <br />Program, bids W,,ere received, opened and tabulated according to law on July 8, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following bids were received: <br /> <br />BidderI Amount of Bid <br /> <br /> Allied B_~Cktop Co. $51,345.00 <br /> Astech C_~o_ rp. $55,827.50 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop Co. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY,!ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract ~ith Allied Blacktop Co. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the 1994 Street <br />Maintenance Program - Seatcoating (Improvement Projects gO4-01 through #94-11 ) in the <br />amount of $51,345.00.
