CASE INTRODUCE ORDINANCE TO REZONE PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL, MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL (MR) AND B-2 BUSINESS; ~CASE OF NORTH SUBURBAN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, INC. By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik Background: Jack Menkveld of North Suburban Development has recently received final plat approval of Sunfish Square:, The plat consists of 69 single family residential lots, and as noted throughout the platting procesS, 8.7 acres of multiple residential units and 1 acre of commercial. Observations: ? The property is~currently zoned Industrial and the rezoning to single family, multiple residential and commerci~ is necessary to facilitate the approved plat. The Multiple Residential designation allows up to 15:units per acre. The concept plan submitted for this portion of the plat proposes 9 units per acre. On July 5, 1994, the Planning Commission conducted the public heating regarding the rezoning request and the~ were no verbal or written comments submitted.
