Councilmember for its adoptidn: introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION #94-07- RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRIAL TO R-1 URBAN'Tt--'~SIDENTIAL, MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL AND B-2 BUSINESS WHE]REAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That North Suburban Development Company, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to rezone certain property from Industrial to R-1 Urban Residential, Multiple Residential and B-2 Business. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the City Code on July 5, 1994 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: 'The Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka Count),, Minnesota; or upon recording: SUNFISH SQUARE, Anoka Count),, Minnesota. 4. The total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately forty (40) acres. That the subject property is currently zoned Induswial. That the subject property is bounded on the north and east by R-1 Urban Residential zoning, and the parcels on the south side of C.S.A.H. 116 and on the west side of C.S.A.H. #5? are zoned Industrial. 7. That the Applicant is proposing to develop Sunfish Square with single family urban residential lots, multi-family residential lots and a commercial lot. That on April 12, 1994, the Ramsey City Council granted preliminary plat approval to Sunfish Square with the understanding that the property would be developed with a combination of single family and multi-family units and a commercial comer. That on!June 14, 1994, the Ramsey City Council ~anted final plat approval to Sunfish Square with the understanding that the Council was cornmiring to adoption of a subsequent ordinanae to rezone the property for development with single and multi-family units and a commercial comer.
