Councilmember <br />for its adoptidn: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #94-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRIAL TO R-1 URBAN'Tt--'~SIDENTIAL, MULTIPLE <br />RESIDENTIAL AND B-2 BUSINESS <br /> <br /> WHE]REAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That North Suburban Development Company, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", <br />has properly applied to rezone certain property from Industrial to R-1 Urban Residential, <br />Multiple Residential and B-2 Business. <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on July 5, 1994 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that <br />the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> 'The Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 32, <br /> Range 25, Anoka Count),, Minnesota; <br /> <br />or upon recording: <br /> <br />SUNFISH SQUARE, Anoka Count),, Minnesota. <br /> <br />4. The total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately forty (40) acres. <br /> <br />That the subject property is currently zoned Induswial. <br /> <br />That the subject property is bounded on the north and east by R-1 Urban Residential <br />zoning, and the parcels on the south side of C.S.A.H. 116 and on the west side of <br />C.S.A.H. #5? are zoned Industrial. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to develop Sunfish Square with single family urban <br />residential lots, multi-family residential lots and a commercial lot. <br /> <br />That on April 12, 1994, the Ramsey City Council granted preliminary plat approval to <br />Sunfish Square with the understanding that the property would be developed with a <br />combination of single family and multi-family units and a commercial comer. <br /> <br />That on!June 14, 1994, the Ramsey City Council ~anted final plat approval to Sunfish <br />Square with the understanding that the Council was cornmiring to adoption of a subsequent <br />ordinanae to rezone the property for development with single and multi-family units and a <br />commercial comer. <br /> <br /> <br />
