Case #2:~ Request for a Conditional Use Permit for a Home Occupation; Case of Jeffrey and 3ulie Lorge Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Jeffrey and Julie Lorge of 17310 St. Francis BoulevardlN.W., have applied for a conditional use permit for a home occupation (one- chair beauly salon operation). The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing and there wereino verbal or written comments submitted relating to the Lorge's request. The Planning Commission is recommending approval of this CUP request. Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolution.#94-05-101 adopting Findings of Fact #0361 relating to a request for a home occupation-permit at 17310 St. Francis Boulevard N.W. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Councilmernber Hardin inquired about the types of licenses Ms. Lorge would need to acquire. Ms. Frolik stated that she (Lorge) needs to maintain a State license. Councilmember Hardin asked that verbiage relating to the requirement of a State License be added to the conditional use permit language. Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt Resolution ~'94-05-102 approving the issuance of a conditional use permit, as amended, for a home occupation at 17310 St. Francis Boulevard N.W. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman, Beyer and Peterson. Voting No: None. .-: Case #3: Request for a Conditional use Permit for a Home Occupation; Case of Diane Dempsey Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Diane Dempsey is having her new home built at 14794 Krypton Court N.W. She has applied for a conditional use permit for a home occupation (,porcelain doll-making classes). She is presently holding such classes in her home in Maple Grove. Ms. Frolik stated that Ms. Dempsey's home is the first home to be developed on Krypton Court N.W; therefore, her future neighbors will not have had the opportunity ~:o comment on the request for a home occupation. Ms. Frolik recommended that an inte~m use permit be granted to accommodate the classes for approximately one year after MI;. Dempsey takes occupancy of the home. At the end of one year, the classes should be relocated to an appropriate commercial location or Ms. Dempsey should request changing the interim use permit to a conditional use permit. Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to adopt Resolution g94-05-103 adopting Findings of Fact #0362 relating to a request for a home occupation permit at 14794 Krypton Court N.W.
