Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-09- RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT #94-__ AND ISSUING A NEGATIVE FINDING FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET FOR SUNWOOD DRIVE N.W. CONNECTION BETWEEN KRYPTON STREET N.W. AND INDUSTRY AVENUE N.W. (COUNTY ROAD -fill6) ~,VHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is considering the construction of Sunwood DrSve N.W. between Krypton Street N.V~>. and industry Avenue N.W. (County Road #116); and WHEREAS, the proposed project consists of 1.3 miles of street construction; and WHEREAS, under the rules of the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board Environmental Review Pro,am, the construction of the new street is, under rules .r, 4A10.4300 Subp. 22 & SublS. 27, required to go through a mandatory EAW process; and 'WHEREAS, the 30 day review and comment period for the EAW ended on May 26, 1994; and WHEREAS, the proposed Findings of Fact were presented to the City Councilmembers for their review on August 22, 1994; and WHEREAS, a copy of the proposed Findings was made available to members of the public on August 22, 1994 and, thereafter, a cop>, has been on file in the office of the City Administrator. ~ NOW THEREF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That City Council approves the Findings of Fact which conclude that the proposed SunwoodDnve N.W. between Krypton Street N.W. and Indus'aT Avenue N.W. (Count>, Road #116) does not have the potential for significant environmental effects. 2) That City Council authorizes the Mayor to sign the Findings of Fact. 3) That Cit',, :Council directs Ciu, Staff to forward a copy of the Findings of Fact and notice of decision ~n the EAW to the Environmental Quality Board (EQB) for publication in the .EOB Monitor, 4) That City :Council directs City Staff to forward copies within five (5) working days of the decision on the EAW to all persons on the EAW distribution list and to all persons who comment~ on the EAW. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained:
