Council has also initiated a public improvement process to provide utility and <br />roadway access m this development. It is expected that this process will not be initiated pr/or to <br />1995. "~nerefore,~- the development agreement has been altered as attached (see para~aph 9). <br /> <br />E/H/ir Narrative: <br /> <br />Council has authqmzed acquisition of the property at 14100 Jaspar Sn'eet N.W. for a Public Works <br />garage. This sit~ includes a 12,240 square foot block building (9ff x 136') and a 13,125 square <br />foot steel buildiCg (includes a 25' x 125' bay next to an 80' x 125' bay). We ask that you <br />authorize a closing on this property for the end of August <br /> <br />Council has aisc authorized negotiating with the Anoka County Economic Development <br />Partnership to potentially lease out the metal building for a period of two to three years for <br />remodeling of theibuilding. This lease is proposed to return $39,375 each year to the general fund. <br />The AC'EDP is c~rrenfly estimating repair and remodeling costs. When this information becomes <br />available, it will ~e forwarded. If the repair is excessive, the project may need amendment. This <br />proposal will likely result in continued use of the T.H. #47 shop for off-season storage of <br /> <br /> <br />
