Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g94-08- RESOLUTIONi APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W. B. MILLER, INC. FOR THE 1994 STR.'EET PAVING PROGRAM - DIVISIONS A AND B (IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS Pt3-11 AND #93-12) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved Improvement Project #93- 11 on September ;14, 1993 and improvement Project ~93-12 on October 26, 1993; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the 1994 Street Paving Program (Improvement Projects ~93-11 through ~t93-13); and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partSal payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $29,063.65. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the 1994 Street Pav~g Program - Divisions A and B (Improvement Projects #93-11 and ~q~93-12) in the amount of $29,063.65. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the completed work and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) 4) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of August, 1994. That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provi~ted a signed copy of this resolution.
