Councilmember .~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~94-08- RESOLUTION~APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W. B. MILLER, INC. FOR THE RAMSE¥-ANOKA WATER SYSTEM INTERCONNECT (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #9447) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on Ma)' 24, 1994; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to W. B. Miller, itc. for the Ramsey-Anoka Water System Interconnect (Improvement Project #94- 17); and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $35,472.05. NOW THEREFDRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, }kNOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: r~ 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the Ramsey- Anoka Wl~ter System Interconnect (Improvement Project #94-17) in the amount of $35,472.05. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the completed work and authorizes the Mayor or City Adminisrraior to sign the release form for this payment. 3) 4) That the to~al amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of b/ils for the month of August, 1994. That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the iadoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember~ __ and upon ~Ote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following v.°tecl against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of August, 1994.
