PUBLIC WORKS REPORT FOR AUGUST 1994 <br /> By: Merle Mevissen, Public Works Supervisor <br /> <br />The majoritylof time in August was spent patching potholes which is a never-ending job. <br /> <br />Some time mas spent sweeping streets in new developments because dirt was washing into <br />storm sewers. <br /> <br />We did soma shoulder maintenance throughout the City and now are shouldering the areas <br />that were ov~rlayed. <br /> <br />Dirt streets were graded two times in August. <br /> <br />Storm sewer maintenance consisted of cleaning catch basins of debris and grass and <br />repairing a spillway. <br /> <br />We installed signs in new developments and also repaired or replaced some old ones that <br />were damaged. <br /> <br />All roadside~ in the City have been mowed once and MSA roads mowed twice. <br /> <br />It took two days to clean up the downed trees from the wind storm on August 25.
