~WARD ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR EXTENSION OF SEWER AND WATER UTILITIES TO ANOKA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT SITE By: Sleven J. Jankowski, City Engineer CASE # 5 Background: It will be nece2ssary for the City to extend sanitary sewer and water service to the site being developed by ,~.noka Electric Cooperative for the construction of their maintenance facility. Staff had been authr, rized to solicit engineering proposals for this work. A request for proposal was sent to Hakansrn Anderson Associates, inc. and RLK Associates, Inc. Both of these consultants are currently p~rforming work for the City on other projects. Both firms submitted proposals in accordance wit[h the request. A copy of the proposals are attached to this case. Although both proposals are w~thin generally accepted guidelines associated with fee structures for projects of this type, the proposal from Hakanson Anderson Associates is substantially lower in the not to exceed price for basic ~rvices.
