Councitmembcr introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-09- RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR REPAIRS TO! CEMENT WALLS AND RELOCATION OF DOORWAY ACCESSES AT 14100 JA~PAR STREET N.W. (PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY) WHER]EAS, on August 31, 1994, the City of Ramsey purchased the property located at 14100 Jaspar Street N.W. for the purpose of a public works facility; and WItEREAS, the Finance Committee approved at their September 12, 1994 meeting, a remodeling budget for the cement structure located on the site, for doors, HVAC/air exchange, roofing, electric,/il, landscaping and paving; and WHEREAS, the City Council on September 12, 1994, ratified the Finance Committees budget approval~, with not-to-exceed amounts, to be done pursuant to the Minnesota bid 'taw; and WttEREAS, pursuant to the Minnesota bid law, written quotes were obtained for the repairs to the ce~ent walls and relocation of door accesses; and WHEREAS, the following written quotes were received: Bendiske Concrete and Masonry $ 9,940.00 Albin Katzner Cement Company $11,534.00 AND W~ItEREAS, it appears that Bendiske Concrete and Masonry is the lowest bidder. NOW THERE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY; ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 ) That the!City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Beddiske Concrete and Masonry in the name of the City of Ramsey for the repairs to the cemgnt walls and relocation of door accesses at 14100 Jaspar Street N.W. in the amount Of $9,940.00.
