Councilmembcr introduced thc following resolution and moved for its adoption: ~ RESOLUTION #94-09- RESOLUTION ~ECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSEI~ ASSESSMENT ~FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-01 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK F~ILL FORD BROOK ESTATES 3RD ADDITION) WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the sealcoating and cr~k filling of Ford Brook Estates 3rd Addition and the expenses incurred or to bc incurred in thc making of suc~ improvement amount to $4,845 so that the total cost of thc improvement will be $4,845. NOW THEREFiDRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, AN(~;KA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the potion of the cost of such improvement to bc paid by the City of Ramsey is hereby declared to be $422 ~and thc portion of thc cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $423, with the remaining funds being provided from an escrow established by thc subdivision developer.: 2) That the p~ncipal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of three (3) years; thc first of thc installments to be payable on or before December 31, 1995 and shall bear interest at lhe rate ()1' 9.75 perccm per annum from thc datc of thc adoption of thc assessment resolution, 3) That the City Administrator shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvemeBt against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within thc district affected, without regard to calsh valuation, as provided by law, and shall file ~n the city offices a cop3' of such proposed assessment ~or public inspection. 4) That thc Ci~ty Administrator shall, upon thc completion of such proposed assessment, notify thc Ramsey city Council thereof. The motion for the t~doption of the £orcgoing resolution was dui), sct/i)ndcd by Councilmcmber and upon vote being taken thereon, the folk)wing voted in favor thereof: and thc following vOLed against the same: and thc following were absent: and thc folk)wing a~staincd: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by thc Ramscy City Council this thc 27th day of September, 1994.
