Councilmember inlroduccd thc following resolution and moved Rjr its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-09- RESOLUTION D~ECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSEDi ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PRO,IECT #94-{}8 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL HUNTERS HILL ADDITION) WHEREA~, a contract has been lot and costs have been determined with reference to the sealcoating and crack filling of Hunters Hill Addition, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such imp~vement amount to $4,843 so thai the total cost of thc improvement will be $4,843. NOW THEREF.O?E,.BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOVA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l ) That the ponlon of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramsey is hereby declared to be $2,421 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $2,422. 2) That the principal of thc assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of three (3) years; the~first of thc installments to be payable on or before December 31, 1995 and shall bear intcrcsl fit tho ralc of 9.75 percent per annum from the date of lhc adoption of Ihc assessment resolution. 3) That thc City Administrator shall calculate the propcr amount to be spccially assessed for such improvement }igainst every assessable lot, piece or parcel of hind within the district affected, without regard to cash~valuation, as provided by law, and shall file in thc city ()['rices a copy of such proposed assessmcnt fo~ punic inspection. 4) That thc City Administrator shall, upon thc completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Ramsey Cily ~ouncil thereof. The motion for the adoption of thc foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmcmbcr and upon vote being taken thereon, tile following voted in favor thcr. eof: and thc following voted against the same: and the following wer6 absent: and thc following abstained: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopled by thc Ramsey City Council this IbC 27th day of September, 1994.
