Councilmcmbcr introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-09- RESOLUTION I3iECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED [ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g~94-13 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY WHISPERING PINES ESTATES PLAT 3) WHEREA~, a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the bituminous overlaying of Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such imp~vcment amount to $61,083 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $61,093. NOW THEREFQRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOI~A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the pon{on of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramscy is hereby declared to be $30,54 ~ and the portion of thc cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $30,54~2. 2) That thc pnn~.ipal o[' the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of ten (10) years; thc fir~ of the installments to be payable on or before December 31, 1995 and shall bear interest at thc rate of~.75 percent per annum from thc date of thc adoption of thc assessment resolution. 3) That the Cit~ Administrator shall calculate thc proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement~against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land wilhin thc distric} affected, without regard to cas[~ valuation, as provided by law, and shall file in thc ci~5 offices a cop> of such proposed assessment f(~r public inspection. 4) That thc Cit~ Administrator shall, upon thc completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Ramsey City ~ouncil thereof. The motion for the adpption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmembcr and upon vote being thken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following votOd against the same: and the following were absent: and the Following abstpincd: whereupon said rcsoltition was declared duly passed and adopted by thc Ramscy City Council this thc 27th day of September, 1994.
