REQUESTiFOR <br /> <br />SITE PLAN REVIEW TO MOVE IN STORAGE BUILDING; <br /> CASE OF FEDERAL CARTRIDGE CO. <br /> By: Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Federal Cartrid~}e is proposing to clear the homestead parcel they own on the west side of Variolite <br />Street of all s .t~.ctures. It is proposed that the home will be demolished and the garage will be <br />moved across the street onto the shooting range for use as a storage building. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br /> a) 8itc location map <br /> b) S~ite Plan <br /> c) Qity Staff review letter dated September 28, 1994 <br /> d) ~oposed Site Plan Development Permit <br /> <br />Observations:i <br /> <br />The Planning C~mmission conducted a public hearing on October 4 and no verbal or written <br />comments were i'eceived. <br /> <br />The structure to ..be relocated is 600 square feet in size and the exterior walls consist of standard lap <br />siding with an a~phalt shingle roof. <br /> <br />In lieu of the fagt that the shooting range parcel is 80 acres in size, the structure will not have an <br />impact on site dri~inage. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Planning COmmission and City Staff recommend approval of the request. <br /> <br /> Council Action: <br /> <br /> Morion t~: <br /> Approve!the request of Federal Cartridge Company to move a 620 square foot storage <br /> building ~nto the shooting range. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />CC: <br /> <br />City Engineer <br />City Building Official <br /> <br />10/11/94 <br /> <br /> <br />
