Councilmembe~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-10- RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS'AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR ELECTRICA~ WORK AT 14100 JASPAR STREET N.W. (PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY) WHEREAS, on August 31, 1994, the City of Ramsey purchased the property located at 14100 Jaspar S~eet N.W. for the purpose of a public works facility; and WHER~iAS, the Finance Committee approved at their September 12, 1994 meeting, a remodeling bud~get for the cement structure located on the site, for doors, HVAC/air exchange, roofing, electrical, landscaping and paving; and WHEREAS, the City Council on September 12, 1994, ratified the Finance Committees budget approval with not-to-exceed amounts, to be done pursuant to the Minnesota bid law; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Minnesota bid law, written quotes were obtained for electrical work; and WHER'.gAS, the following written quotes were received: .]4,iberty Electric, Inc. .Mayer Electric Corporation $ 6,820.00 $10,086.00 AND W~HEREAS, it appears that Liberty Electric, Inc. is the lowest bidder. NOW THERI~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY~? ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 ) Thatithe City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with!Liberty Electric, Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for electrical work at 141(10 laspar Street N.W. in the amount of $6,820.00 The motion for!the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: 55'
