Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #94-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTIO{N RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />INSTALLATION OF INSULATION AT 14100 JASPAR STREET N.W. (PUBLIC <br />WORKS FAOILITY) <br /> <br /> WriER .I~As, on August 31, 1994, the City of Ramsey purchased the property located at <br />14100 Jaspar SSeet N.W. for the purpose of a public works facility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved at their September 12, 1994 meeting, a <br />remodeling budget for the cement structure located on the site, for doors, HVAC/air exchange, <br />roofing, electricS, landscaping and paving; and <br /> WHER.I~AS, the City Council on September 12, 1994, ratified the Finance Committees <br />budget approval! with not-to-exceed amounts, to be done pursuant to the Minnesota bid law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the Minnesota bid law, written quotes were obtained for the <br />installation of in~sulation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following written quotes were received: <br /> <br /> /~Ietro Home Insulation $ 8,421.00 <br /> K. oenig Bros. Insulation $10,420.00 <br /> <br /> AND VCHEREAS, it appears that Metro Home Insulation is the lowest bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THERE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY~, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That th~ City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement <br /> with M~tro Home Insulation in the name of the City of Ramsey for the installation of <br /> insulation at 14100 Jaspar Street N.W. in the amount of $8,421.00. <br /> <br />The motion forithe adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the followigg voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the followia~g abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
