The committee consisted of Park and Recreation Commissioners <br />Teresa Henn and Jill Johns, Cih, Adminismuor Ryan Schroeder, Sunny Ponds rcsidcm Dave <br />Osborne, and me. Proposals were submitted by Minnesota Pl%'ground of Golden Valley, <br />representing Game Time; Flanagan Sales of Shorewood, representing Iron Mot~nmin Forge; Value <br />Recreation of Chanhassen, representing Playworld; and E.F. Anderson representing their brand of <br />play structures. The committee, by consensus, selecmd Value Recreation as the purveyor of play <br />equipment for Solstice Park, defined the colors and the configuration of the playground. City Staff <br />will be ordering the play structures and installation by contract with the intern of having iz available <br />before spring 1995. h is expected that the resilient surfacing (pea gravel) will be hauled in and <br />installed by City forces.
