Councilmember[ <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moVed for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #94-10~_~ ~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />04 (SEALCO~T AND CRACK FILL HAUSER/HY-10 RAMSEY IST, 3RD AND <br />4TH ADDITIONS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, p~suant to proper notice duly given as required by law', the Ramsey City Council <br />has met and heaj'd and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the improvements <br />to Hauser/HY-1D Ramsey 1 st, 3rd and 4th Additions. <br /> <br />NOW THERE.FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That suqh proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br />is hereby, accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br />improve~ nent in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />That such assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br />three ye~trs, the first of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 1995 and <br />shall be,'a' interest at the rate of 9.75 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br />assessm :nt resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br />assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1995. To each subsequent <br />installm{nt, when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That th~ owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />assessmbnt to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br />property,, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br />except t~at no interest shall be charged if the entire ~'gsessment is paid within 30 days from <br />the adoption of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br />FinancelDepartment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br />accrued lto December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must <br />be mad~ before November 1, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br />succeeding year. <br /> <br />4) That a c{~rtified duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> Office t~ be extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> collectec~, and paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />The morion of t~e adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> ired upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> · ~ <br />and the follow,rig abstained: ,. <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> ; <br />whereupon saidiresolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council .this <br />the 1 lth day of October, 1994. <br /> <br />ATTE ST: Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
