Councilmember ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-10- RESOLUTION ~APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W. B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMEI~T PROJECTS #93-1I AND #93-13 (1994 STREET PAVING PROGRAM - ~IVISIONS A AND C) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved Improvement Project #93- 11 on September 1~4, 1993 and Improvement Project g93-13 on October 12, 1993; and WHERE.~S, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution, dated July 12, 1994, awarding ti~e bid to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the 1994 Street Paving Program, Improvement Projects #93-I 1 through #93-13; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $15,148.97. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the 1994 Street Pavi~hg Program - Divisions A and C, Improvement Projects #93-11 and #93-13, in the amount of $15,148.97. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the completed work and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) 4) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for Ce month of October, 1994. That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for theiadoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counciimember __ and upon v~ote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following Voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following Were absent: whereupon said reaolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Counc}l this the 25th day of October, 1994.
