Councilmember: RESOLUTIO PURCHASE DEPARTMEN introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-10- AUTHORIZING A BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE SIX ADDITIONAL MINI-RECORDERS FOR THE POLICE WHERI~AS, the Minnesota Supreme Court decreed that all statements taken from in- custody persons ~ust be recorded and the recording retained; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that all police officers be provided with adequate means to make these recor4:Lings; and WHEREAS, at the Council's Finance Committee meeting of October 25, 1994, staff presented a requ6st for the purchase of six additional mini-recorders for the Police Department; and WHEREiAS, the funding in an amount not-to-exceed $630.00 is available through budget reallocati~ons from account #42261-2211 to #45560-2211 in the Adopted 1994 General Fund Budget; and WHERI~,AS, the Finance Committee approved this recommendation and hereby recommends thatithe Ramsey City Council authorize the purchase and funding sources as detailed within this resolu~tion. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,!ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the gamsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of six additional mini- recorders Bt a price not-to-exceed $630.00. .. 2) That the gamsey City Council hereby authorizes the budget reallocation of funds in the Adopted 1j994 General Fund Budget as detailed in this resolution.
