All vehicles shall be properly equipped and outfitted to meet all local, county, state or <br />federal laws required for on- the -road emergency snow removal operations. Safety equipment <br />will include emergency lighting that is visible 360 degrees around the vehicle. They shall <br />provide the operator with full visibility in all directions and shall have a back -up warning system. <br />The operator's cab shall be fully enclosed and properly equipped with all equipment necessary to <br />allow the efficient and safe operation of that vehicle. The CITY reserves the right to reject at <br />any time, without notice to the CONTRACTOR, any vehicle that does not appear to comply with <br />all rules or regulations required for over - the -road snow removal operations. Rejection of vehicle <br />acceptability will also take into consideration the condition and limitations of operation of the <br />vehicle or its accessory equipment. <br />e. Skid steer loaders, dump trucks and similar equipment must include emergency <br />lighting and meet all applicable DOT safety standards <br />e. Vehicle Designation /Replacements <br />The CONTRACTOR shall provide the CITY with the vehicle identification <br />number and license plate number (where applicable) to the CITY within ten days <br />of execution of this contract. After inspection by the CITY, those vehicles <br />acceptable for performance under this contract will be verified by the CITY. <br />Except for emergencies, any planned substitution or replacement of previously <br />approved equipment shall require prior written approval by the CITY. <br />4.
