; and <br />➢ FederalFunding $ 3,000,000 <br />➢ State bonding $ 4,000 000 <br />➢ Counties Transit Investment Board $ 2,816,000 <br />➢ Met Council $ 1,000,000 <br />➢ Anoka County Regional Rail Authority $ 1,200,000 <br />➢ City of Ramsey $ 1,200,000 <br />➢ Total Cost $13,200,000 <br />WHEREAS, if such State funding is secured, the City of Ramsey will secure or provide <br />other funding to ensure completion of the project; and <br />WHEREAS, in 2010 the City of Ramsey was successful in their efforts to create a tax <br />increment finance district to support transportation related improvements in and around The <br />COR development. These funds could be used to finance the local share of the rail station <br />construction. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA'COUNTY; STATE OF`MTNNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey hereby supports a 2011 State bonding request for Ramsey Rail <br />Station in the amount of $4,000,000. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />Resolution #11 -02 -050 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
