1) That the City of Ramsey supports Running Aces Harness Park's request that the <br />Administration and the Minnesota State Legislature pass legislation to integrate <br />electronic gaming machines and related equipment into the existing gaming opportunities <br />offered at Minnesota's two state licensed and regulated racetracks and card rooms. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 8 day of March, 2011. <br />Mayor <br />Resolution #11-03-071 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
