Councilmembe Wise introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #1 -05 -093 <br />CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO RE- APPOINT A MEMBER OF THE ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />WHEREAS, one seat on the Economic Development Authority expired on March 31, <br />2011; and <br />WHEREAS, all vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County <br />Union, on the City's website, QCTV, in the January utility billing statements, and via the city's <br />email notification system.; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor is responsible for making appointments to the E.D.A. with the <br />consensus of the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Chris Riley was selected to be re- appointed to a 6 -year term on the <br />E.D.A.; term ending March 31, 2017. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey makes the following appointment: <br />Name Board or Commission Term Dates Length <br />Chris Riley Economic Development Authority April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2017 6 Years <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Tossey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />
