CHAPTER 9 <br />EMINENT DOMAIN <br />Section 9.1 Acquisition of Property. <br />The city may acquire by purchase, gift, condemnation, <br />or otherwise, any property, either within or without its boundaries, that may be needed by the <br />city for any public purpose. In acquiring property by exercising the power of eminent domain, <br />the city shall proceed according to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 117, or other applicable laws. <br />21 <br /> <br />
