General requirements for the control of pollution from construction sites and related <br />activities. <br />B. Related Section: <br />1. Section 01564 - Erosion Control. <br />C. Unit Prices: <br />1. All activities required by or relating to this section will be considered incidental. <br />2. No direct payment will be made. <br />3. No additional compensation or time extension will be granted due to actions brought <br />against the CONTRACTOR for failure to comply with pollution control requirements. <br />1.02 REFERENCES <br />A. MN/DOT 1717 - Air, Land, and Water Pollution. <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Regulatory Requirements: <br />1. Conduct all operations to prevent, control and abate the pollution of air, land and water in <br />accordance with the rules, regulations and standards adopted and established by the <br />following agencies: <br />a. Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br />b. Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. <br />c. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. <br />A. Schedule and conduct all operations to minimize soil erosion and prevent siltation and the <br />resultant turbidity of public waters. <br />01568 - 1 <br />
