Fees /Charges to consider for <br />reduction /elimination <br />Important Note: These fees are based on a 120 unit residential development: Scenario #1 <br />FEE /CHARGE Description /Notes /Suggestions Estimated Costs for <br />Scenario 1 <br />(120 Residential <br />Development) <br />$100 Admin Fee <br />$1,200 reduction, <br />erosion control <br />Staff is proposing the elimination of the $100 $1,200 reduction, <br />administrative fee for both erosion and landscape landscape <br />escrows. Based on scenario #1, that is $1,200 per <br />fee. <br />Used for erosion control and landscape escrows. <br />Staff Note: $8,000 has been budgeted from the <br />general fund to cover these costs in 2012 (this <br />includes certificate of occupancy -- below). <br />Certificate of Staff believes that the CO fee could be reduced or $480 reduction, <br />Occupancy eliminated. Staff believes that the city incurs little certificate of <br />cost to issue a CO. occupancy <br />This is a $4 per unit charge. Based on scenario #1, <br />that is a $480 fee. <br />Staff Note: $8,000 has been budgeted from the <br />general fund to cover these costs in 2012 (this <br />includes the two $100 admin fees -- above). <br />Future Seal This fee is being eliminated.
